Talk music, practice a language, or meet someone from a country you would love to visit. Minggly's chat filters help you choose how to meet people, while leaving the conversation up to you.

What is free, and what needs Premium?

Country and gender filters require Premium. You can enjoy free video and text chat without them. Minggly is for adults 18+ and does not offer age-range filters.
A shared interest gives you somewhere to start
That game you are playing, the band you have on repeat, the place you want to visit: add a few things you would enjoy talking about. You can choose up to eight interests on the homepage or in Settings. Short topics such as “gaming” or “travel” work better than a whole sentence.
When someone shares a topic, you have an easy first question. Ask what they are playing, what they are listening to, or where they would go next. Minggly gives shared interests preference when possible; you can still meet someone with different tastes.
If you want to practice Spanish, choose Spanish as your chat language. You do not need a country filter for that. Language choices bring together people who picked the same language; they do not translate the conversation or guarantee fluency.
More say in who you meet
Country and gender filters are useful when you have a particular conversation in mind. Choose one country, set a gender preference, or combine the two. One Premium subscription covers these choices in both video and text chat.
A country flag reflects where someone connects from, which can be affected by a VPN. Gender is self-described. Neither is a verified detail about the person you meet.

Give your search enough room
Every extra filter leaves fewer people to meet. Both people's choices must fit, so a specific country, language and gender together may mean a longer wait.
Premium priority helps when a suitable person is available; it cannot guarantee an instant chat. If your search is quiet, tap Stop and loosen one preference, or try again later. Your country, gender and language choices stay in place until you change them.
See who you meet first
You do not need a detailed plan for a good conversation. Choose a language you are comfortable with, add an interest or two, and leave country and gender open. Try the free chat before deciding whether more specific choices would help.
Want to keep meeting people? Turn on Auto connect in Settings to start another search when your partner leaves. You can still tap Stop whenever you have had enough. Reporting and blocking remain free; filters do not replace the usual precautions when meeting a stranger.
Choose text chat for a quiet conversation, or video chat when you would rather talk face to face.
