Give “hi” somewhere to go
A good question gives the other person something to work with. Ask for an opinion or a recommendation, then follow up on what they say. You’ll learn more from “What do you like about it?” than from firing off another unrelated question.

Add a few interests to help meet people with something in common. Shared interests get preference when a suitable person is available; they don’t limit what you can talk about. You can also skip them and start with whoever you meet.
Give the other person time to reply. If the conversation feels one-sided, you can move on without asking them to explain why.
Keep the conversation free
Text chat, interests and language preferences are free. You can start talking without taking a trial or subscribing.
Premium adds country and gender preferences and covers both text and video. Those choices help narrow who you meet, but can mean waiting longer. See which filters suit your conversation before deciding whether you need them.
Share a thought, not your private details
Your stranger isn’t shown your Google name or email. You choose what to tell them. Keep passwords, verification codes, payment details and identifying information out of the conversation.
Anonymous chat is not a promise of complete privacy. Reports can include recent messages, and authorized moderators may review active chats for safety. The privacy notice explains what Minggly collects and keeps.
Stay because you want to
If a chat isn’t for you, choose Next to meet someone else or Stop to finish. Block stops that account from matching with you again. Report lets you flag harassment, suspected underage use or other rule-breaking, and ends the conversation. These controls are available to everyone.
Minggly is for adults 18 and over. People confirm their age before joining, but that does not verify it. Read the safety guide for advice on handling unwanted messages and requests.
